  • 4 Easy Ways To Be Exciting And Interesting Instead Of Boring

An amazing number of people in general are hopelessly boring, aren’t they?

The weird part is they usually realize it. Not only will most people admit they lead dull, unexciting lives, some even seem proud of it.

But not everyone so affected is happy with his or her boring life.

I get calls and e-mails from both men and women all the time asking ways to become more exciting and intriguing to others...not just MOTOS (members of the other sex), mind you, but toeveryone.

After all, in order to inspire others you have to bring something compelling to the table.

And given man’s ongoing search for meaning and significance in this life, the only long-term alternative is to live in obscurity and ultimately die alone…soon to be forgotten.

    Well, to hell with that.

Here are four simple, straightforward ways you can be more interesting, intriguing AND inspiring to everyone around you…almost immediately.

Oh, and these will make you more attractive to women also, of course.

    1) Curiosity

People who come off as interesting do so in part because they’re interested.

That thirst for knowledge leads to continued learning and expansion of the mind over the course of a lifetime.

Curious people are empowered with the universally attractive ability to engage others in conversation about virtually anything, all the while being fascinated by the discussion.

This is why curious people are beloved by others, even though (ironically) few of us are all that curious ourselves.

That only means that if you’re one of the few who show enthusiasm toward what others enjoy, they’ll beat a path to your door to hang out with you.

    2) An Attitude Of Mutual Respect

This factor has always been a major linchpin in the art of winning friends and influencing people, but I strongly suggest it’s going to matter more than ever before going forward.

Anyone who spends any time at all on Facebook can either see that fact clearly, or they’re part of the problem.

You don’t even have to scroll below the fold to find people calling others “idiots” (or worse) at the wholesale level when “confronted” with political leanings, religious beliefs and/or views on the police that are different from their own.

It’s easy to find threads where one person after another is responding to a provocative meme or video with a call to kill either all Muslims, non-Feminists and/or Trump supporters.

In other words, end their lives violently because they think differently.

What amazes me is they’re doing this in broad daylight, with their real name beside their comment.

These aren’t the type of people I’d want to have coffee with.Bear in mind I’m neither Muslim nor a Trump supporter. It’s just that I don’t find them interesting.

There’s a difference between having an opinion and being opinionated.

    Look it up.

    3) Participation In Life

Speaking of Facebook, more than a few of my acquaintances have a penchant for posting lots of pictures of their “stuff” on there.

Cars, houses, bling…whatever they’ve just bought.

Meanwhile, there’s a movement lately toward what’s being called “The New American Dream”.

More and more people are waking up to the fact that working in a cubicle all day for a five-bedroom home, a BMW and a Chevy Suburban doesn’t really satisfy in the end.

Sure, you have a big house and a big car, but you're so leveraged that you're relegated to watching other people's exciting adventures on your big HD television.

    There’s no real freedom there.

Worse, it all usually results in fewer friends and more rivals.

People who invest in experiences (and knowledge, as already mentioned) are not only happier, more fulfilled and less frustrated than legacy “ratracers”, they’re also infinitely more intriguing and interesting to others.

Actually getting out there and crossing items off of your "bucket list" rules …and it’s contagious.

    Need proof?

Muhammad Ali recently passed away, of course. I’m sure you know all about what he said and did in his life. But can you tell me what kind of car he drove? Do you even care?

If you happen to believe that Ali was "The Greatest", it's probably not because of his material possessions. It's probably because of how he lived his dream, stood firm to his purpose and inspired others.

He was most certainly never boring, at the very least.

    4) Living Your Passion

I’ll admit it.There was a point in my life where I felt stagnant.
I wasn’t doing what I really wanted to be doing, which meant I wasn’t enjoying it.

I don’t know about you, but when I lack passion towards what I’m doing I find it really hard to be good at it.

    It’s like a domino effect.

The culmination of it all is the sobering reality that when we’re bored and uninspired, we have to expect that others will find us boring and uninspiring as well.

After being stubborn for way to long, I finally I quit the cubicle and went back to making a difference in the lives of others.

Having found the love of my life after a bitter divorce, my passion became helping others find love also.

    • Creating Drama is Never the Answer for Marriage Problems
      LoveAdmin
Can drama help a relationship? Most couples would unanimously agree that the answer is no. Yet, believe it or not, some couples use drama as a form of excitement in their relationship. They get a rush from the occasional argument and enjoy the make-up sex that follows.

But drama does more harm than good in a marriage. What started out as a spark of drama can quickly turn into embarrassing public arguments, using intimacy as a bargaining chip, and freezing one another out.

Recently, I got into a conversation with some friends over dinner about the subject of "attraction".

After several minutes of discussion, a somewhat amazing revelation hit me. Each respective person at the table had a different working definition for the word.

One person seemed to believe it was synonymous with "physically good looking".

Someone else was talking as if it meant all those things that matter other than physical looks, and

Most of us as guys get a raging case of "Tunnel Vision Disorder" when it comes to getting a woman we like to go out on a date with us.

We lock on to that as a goal, and it's all we care about.

As such, sometimes we end up going on dates with women we should never have agreed to, and we end up "hornswaggled".

      "Hoodwinked". "Bamboozled". "Flim-flammed". TRICKED.

Okay, here's a quick exercise for you that should be fun.

Close your eyes and fantasize about something or someone.

I have no idea how you're reading this with your eyes closed, but never mind that. By now I've made my point, which is this...

My bet is that regardless of what you just fantasized about, it distinctly involved something pleasurable.

    • Approaching Women: Is This As Bad As It Gets?
      LoveAdmin
How big a deal is the whole idea of approaching women without fear of rejection? Well, it's pretty massive.

So much so that almost invariably whenever I write about anything other than that, I get at least one e-mail or comment to the effect of, "Yeah, but...you didn't tell us how to meet women and deal with rejection."

Well, this time I don't plan on getting any such messages. That's because today we're going to hit that most sensitive of subjects.
