was wondering what other clues are that it may be time to think about replacing the daily driver and how you can hang on if you either are a enthusiast and don’t have room to park the old car so you can get another daily driver or if you are a enthusiast and would rather drive that sort of car around or if you can’t afford another one just yet or are hanging out for older family members to die and have less to do with certain people so you don’t feel like you have to listen to them while it will be sad but know it’ll happen or bit of everything.
Sometimes it’s dependability and sometimes it’s lifestyle changes or both.
many of you know that have got a daily driver that needs a lot of work and there’s a few high priority work minimum that it needs to feel comfortable taking it on longer trip or to be able to count on it and do little more than the standard checks for a trip.
at moment don’t feel comfortable taking it on a 2 hour each way trip because of those high priority jobs and can’t afford to attend to all at once, thinking that inconvenience might be a reason why people don’t put up with cars a little longer or wait until it dies before replacing their daily’s.
