I have currently a big crush. He´s in my college class. I feel really invested in us. I don´t feel though he´s as invested in me as I am in him.
therefore I´m trying to take a step back. There´s a lot of nice people here. But my heart still lies with this man I have a crush on.
He´s the one I´m thinking about when talking to other men. Is it fair then to flirt with other people.
I also know I´m ready for a relationship. I don´t just want to wait for my feelings to go away.
At the same time I just want to wait for my crush to get it together.

as stella said the best way to see if your crush is serious about you is for him to see other men chasing after you and you being receptive to them by flirting.

if he is invested in you the fear of losing you to someone else will make him take his actions seriously. if he makes no effort you will know it time to forget about him.

A crush by it's very nature is one sided. You like him but he may not know you are alive. If you don't flirt with others you may spend all your time pining for somebody & something that will never happen. After you start dating and have a conversation about exclusivity that is what you cool it with others, not before
