  • My friends told me I'm way too good for her

It’s already been a month since she broke up with me. My world was torn apart, it seems like a big part of me was shattered. I love her so much but she left me without knowing the reason.
She left me hanging. I felt like a feather going to and fro, floating in mid air. But with all the pain I’m feeling and the questions in my head, I decided to start moving on.

My friends were there when I was in total pain, even comforting and consoling me. They said I’m way too good for her. That she doesn’t deserve the love I can give. One of my friends told me to get myself involved with things that will help me forget about her. Should I follow this advice? Please tell me.

It takes time to heal. Allow yourself to be in pain but then don't allow yourself to dwell in it. To take your mind off the pain you do need to involve yourself in more activities in life. If it's not the suggestion that your friend made...maybe some other things/hobbies that you like to do.

Focus on living your best life and in time...the wound will heal. Wishing you the best!

You friend might be right, you need to move on and get involved with something.

Perfectly sound advice. I know it's hard to let go...it's part of the grieving process. Time, and what you do with your time will help you heal. You are very lucky to have wonderful friends to give you support at this difficult time in your life. Think about all the things you are thankful for and you will eventually find peace.
