New guy still sees his ex

I've been dating a guy 3 months now, all going well so far, we seem to enjoy spending time together, have met each others' friends, family.... He previously had a serious 4 year relationship which ended 2 years ago. He told me they are now friends, on good terms and have a lot of mutual friends. He coaches a school sports team and last weekend he brought the team away(overnight) to a game. He went with another female coach, just telling me her first name. I have since found out that this female was actually his ex. I found this out on facebook(wasnt very hard, it was on the team's fb page). My initial reaction was shock and then insecurity. Should I be worried? Should I confront him about it? Why was he not honest with me? He has seemed to be a very honest, straight up guy so far. Any advice/comments welcomed! Thanks

He isn't being sketchy, just cautious of how you are going to react to it when he tells you. I think he is the one that is insecure. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

I don't see anything dishonest here. Just because he didn't tell you every little detail about everything doesn't make it dishonest. The reason he told you that he was on good terms with his Ex and the reason he told you what little he did tell you was because he knew that he had the trip coming up. They are both coaches,...basically they are "co-workers", if they both had deskjobs working at the same place it would be the same thing. The fact that him and his Ex can work together and be civil together is a positive thing and a sign of maturity. It is the people that act like pouty children after a breakup that you don't want to have to deal with.

You shouldn't be bothered about him seeing his ex, since he already told you that they are now friends. However, if it bothers you too much, you can confront him to see his reaction.

It`s all about trust, if you trust him, dont be like that. IF not, try to change something
