So I’ve known this girl for the past year and we’ve become very good friends and I rally like her. I want to ask her out but last week she asked me to go to an amusement park with her so I did but now I’m wondering if she meant it as a date? So idk if we’re a couple now or if we’re still just friends. Should I ask one of my friends to ask her if we are or do I do it myself

The both of you aren't couples yet because she only invited you and you responded.

The only way to be couples with her is for you to ask her out on a date, and let your intentions know to her while on the date. Simply tell her you want her to be your girlfriend while on the date. If you get a positive response, then you can say you both are couples.

You are not going to be boyfriend/girlfriend until she brings up that conversation. If you bring it up will do it too soon and she will run the other way. In most healthy situations this may be after the second month. Until that happens you are both free to see other people,...so don't get but hurt if she suddenly is around another guy in the meantime.
