upcoming date on sex/singles site

I was recently set up with someone via friends. He is the brother of one of the friends. We have been talking and connecting very well. We have a date planned for this weekend. I have been more and more excited to meet in person. In search for his IG account I saw he was on a singles site looking for fun/sex with women including couples. It was inactive with no recent activity. I'm completely grossed out. Do I cancel date with no reason? with reason? ask him to explain? end all contact? see what happens on date?

It's best to end the relationship immediately now that you know this about him. Failure to do so will get you hurt in the future.

There is no need asking him to explain, just leave him. You should be happy you knew this earlier before even being in a relationship with him.

IMO you have every right to do a background check before you date someone. If it was for sure him, you can cancel and say you have changed your mind. If he asks why then you can proceed to tell him if you want to, but you don't have to give him any explanation.

So now that it's Sunday....what happened? Did you cancel?

I spoke with a trusted male friend about it. He gave me some insight and advised me not to jump to conclusions. Also said that I would know quickly what his intentions were. The date went very well. His effort was in getting to know me and not into sleeping with me. He handled difficult topics & questions with ease. Overall he's mature and no other red flags about his character. We are going for a hike and bite this week. My plan is to bring it up then. Haven't done a background check yet smackie but that's not a bad idea. Thank you.
