Online dating advice

I have recently joined online dating again after being on it before with not allot of success. I started chatting to a guy who I had chatted to the first time around. We were supposed to go on a date the first time around but he said I was messing him about and he disappeared from the dating site. This time I messaged him saying Hi and explainined that I wasn’t messing him about the first time and wanted to see if we could get to know each other again and see what happened.

He asked me a question about how many guys I had dated from online and instead of telling the truth which is zero I lied and told him 3 guys to make me look more experienced.

He then said thats not what I told him before. But I said yes I had told him, which is a lie.

Ive completely lost his trust. I need advice on what to do to make him trust me again because I don’t want to lose him xx

You should always tell the truth. Never start anything on a lie however small you may think it is.

You want a man that is interested in talking about your likes, dislikes, hobbies, music, etc you know light stuff to see if there is some compatibility....that speaks genuine confidence and interest. If you have a guy that is all about how many you have dated, and how many you slept with, you are best to steer away from that insecure/bitter ahole. This guy made you uncomfortable, so you lied to get him off of you. stop feeling you did something wrong...this guy is just wrong, and IMO you dodged a bullet.

Us men are completely guarded and trust is everything to us, it might be hard work to get his trust back but it certainly can be done, I personally have had a few women that were completely able to make all my fear of them hurting me melt away and stole my heart away. I saw a video that really put how our minds work as men and how women can keep us chasing them and have us coming back for more and more into perspective.
