First real argument.. traveling

Hi guys, my Gf and I have been together for 1 year and 3 months, were 22 years of age, in school and completely good In our relationship. So about 2 days ago my gf was telling me her family was going to travel to Hawaii for her moms birthday we had a good conversation about that but then soon mentioned about going on a trip with her friend to Mexico next year. FYI I was not bothered bc she was going with her friend I completely trust her and don’t mind it at all. What I did mind was that I really been wanting to go out with her on a trip to at least SF or SD something not too crazy for our first trip but she’s afraid of what her parents might say if we ask to go especially bc we will be staying in a hotel together alone (obviously). I told her it should be a problem we’re grown adults but the only thing is that she still lives with her parents and so do I that’s why she thinks her parents won’t be okay with it. Am I wrong for getting upset that I’ve been literally trying to plan a cute trip but she’s too afraid to ask but yet she’s so excited to go with her friend to Mexico next year at the same time??? Thank you for taking your time to read this and just please leave me some feedback bc I’ve been wondering.

First, is her friend a girl or boy? If her friend is a girl, then her parent won't have any problem with her going with the friend. Whereas, since you are a guy, the parents would probably frown at it. So, you don't have to be upset about it.

No parent will allow their daughter travel with a man and stay with him alone in a hotel room. This can only happen when a guy has a personal relationship with the girls parent. Don't allow this become an issue in your relationship, so let it go.
