1. I met Susan on Tinder and we exchanged phone numbers.
2. We went out on 3 dates and everything was excellent. We seem to "click." She told me she quit all her dating profiles because she just wants to focus on her job. She told me, "I'm focused on my job and don't have time for dating sites. However, with you, I'm available for an LTR and/or Marriage." I told her the same.
3. However, getting those dates were difficult. When I asked her out Susan would say, "I'm busy that day, maybe next week. I'll let you know." But she wouldn't. I had to text her the following week and ask again. Susan was born and raised in China and has been in this country for only 1 year. She is on a work visa. I thought maybe this is what women do when dating in China. 100% passive and elusive.
4. I really like her and I asked her out for a 4th date and the same thing, "I'm busy that day. Maybe next week. I'll let you know."
5. The following week came and I didn't hear a word from her. I knew I was supposed to follow-up and text her, but I was tired of her elusiveness. It was too much work for me. I decided to go back on a dating site and look for someone else.
6. Since I met Susan, and she deleted all of her dating profiles, I deleted my Tinder account. It was the only dating site I was on.
I decided to give Match.com a try.
6. The day I signed up on Match.com Susan messaged me on Match.com. She had a paid subscription to Match.com. Susan wrote, "Hi John. How are you doing? I really like you and I'm interested."
If this is the case, that she is interested in me, why is it so hard to get a date with her? Why hasn't she texted me and let me know what day she is available?
Why would she tell me she quit all her dating profiles and yet be on a PAID subscription for Match.com?
Why would she text me on Match.com saying she likes me and is interested in me?
I just don't understand what is going on. Please give me your opinion.
