    hi

was also wondering how else and where you could find more and different friends where you do stuff with them, it seems in the current group that its always someone else that does the organising and would like to have a turn and the only friends you got are too busy when you want to do it (though havent asked yet) and it would be nice to have more friends where you do things and go out for meals with and take turns organising.

have thought of meetup site but yet to try it.

what could be done to make it happen instant.

am glad to finally be out hospitality where you can finally have a life, though am realising that it hasent been long since have been out of hospitality and that these things are just going to take time.

things are looking better now that am out of hospitality but however accepted that not everything is going to happen overnight and its not going to quickly fall into place.

how would you find a friend to dress up with and go out with

how do you instantly find a girl.

have thought of meetup site but yet to try it, how do you set one up if theres none in your area.

what could be done to make it happen instant.

seen a girl you know on instagram with someone and you’re realising and want to do it and it’s taking so long and it doesn’t help when staying in a old job longer than wanting to.

Also was just wondering if there there are places in a small country town where you could dress up and go in a suit and also dress up really good in nicer casual clothes wether jeans and jacket or suit pants and suit jacket dressed down or would you have to go to adelaide.

Also wondered because there are no weddings to go to and only one which was nearly 2 years ago and some of you may have seen a post about a friend and a partner going somewhere dressed up in a suit and a dress.

want to be able to dress up with t shirt nice jeans and a really nice suit jacket and suit pants and suit jacket dressed down and normal jeans and jacket and go out.

how would you find a friend to do it and go out with and could you do it by yourself in intern.

was also wondering how and where you could find more and different friends where you do stuff with them, it seems in the current group that its always someone else that does the organising and would like to have a turn and the only friends you got are too busy when you want to do it (though havent asked yet) and it would be nice to have more friends where you do things and go out for meals with and take turns organising.

Finding new friends and building deeper connections takes effort, and it’s great that you’re taking a proactive approach to it. It sounds like you’re looking for more balance in your social life where everyone has a chance to organize activities, and it’s understandable that you’d like to step up and do that more often. It can feel frustrating when the friends you have are too busy, but sometimes, we just need to make the first move.

One of the first steps in finding more friends or different groups is putting yourself out there. You’ve thought about using Meetup, and that’s a great idea. Meetup is designed to help people connect over shared interests, and it can help you find others who enjoy the same things you do, like going out to meals or even dressing up for special occasions. If you don’t see a group near you, you can create one. Setting up a Meetup group involves picking an interest, like social outings, and inviting others to join. Even if it starts small, over time, more people may be drawn in. What makes Meetup appealing is that it draws like-minded individuals who are also looking for connection.

However, friendships and social circles don’t form instantly, and while it’s tempting to want something to happen quickly, it’s important to be patient with the process. You mentioned being glad to be out of hospitality, which is a major change, and it’s going to take time for new opportunities to align with the life you’re building now. Things might feel slow at times, but that’s part of the transition. You’re already moving in the right direction by focusing on what you want to build next.

If you’re looking for a specific kind of social connection, like someone to dress up with and go out, the best approach is to find environments or groups where that kind of activity is appreciated. Depending on your location, there might be local social clubs, dinner events, or even fashion-themed gatherings where people like to dress well. In a small town, formal events may be less frequent, but that doesn’t mean you can’t create your own experiences. You could organize a “dress-up dinner” with friends or even start small by visiting nice restaurants where dressing well is encouraged.

If there are limited opportunities to do this locally, expanding your search to Adelaide or a larger nearby city might be the key. Many cities have events that encourage dressing up, such as formal dining experiences or themed social nights. You can explore those events and perhaps invite someone along, or even go solo and meet new people there. Going alone to events is also a great way to build confidence and potentially strike up conversations with new people.

The idea of wanting to “instantly” find a girl or companionship is common, but meaningful connections also take time to build. Apps or sites like Meetup can help with casual connections, but deeper relationships are often a product of shared experiences and gradually getting to know someone. Sometimes, we get impatient when we see others in relationships, but the important thing is focusing on your path and what you want in a partner. You’re already taking steps toward this by considering different avenues, which is a great start.

    To summarize:

    1. Try Meetup to find or create a group that aligns with your interests. If none exist in your area, starting one is easier than you think.

    2. Don’t be afraid to take initiative in your current group, even if you haven’t asked yet. Suggest an outing and see how they respond.

    3. Look for local events or clubs, or consider larger cities nearby like Adelaide for more formal or social occasions where dressing up is appreciated.

    4. Remember that friendships and romantic connections don’t happen instantly—they grow over time, and you’re in the process of building something new.

    5. Focus on what you enjoy and what brings you fulfillment—whether it’s organizing a casual meal with friends or attending a social event—and connections will naturally follow.

You’re already making strides toward the life you want, and with time, you’ll find those connections that fit with where you are now. Keep being proactive, patient, and open to new possibilities!

I totally get where you're coming from! It sounds like you're feeling a bit frustrated with your current social situation and wanting to expand your social circle, try new things, and have more control over organizing activities with friends. I'm here to help you explore some options and offer some advice.

Firstly, it's great that you're recognizing the importance of having a social life outside of your current group. It's essential to have a diverse range of friends with different interests and personalities to keep things exciting and prevent boredom. I completely understand your desire to take turns organizing activities and not always relying on others to do so.

Meetup.com is an excellent platform to explore, and I'm surprised you haven't tried it yet! It's a fantastic way to connect with people who share similar interests and hobbies. You can join groups that align with your passions, attend events, and meet new people. If there aren't any groups in your area that interest you, you can always create your own! It's a great way to take initiative and bring like-minded people together.

To set up a Meetup group, simply create an account, choose a topic or theme, and describe the type of events you'd like to organize. You can set a schedule, invite people, and start planning activities. It's a relatively straightforward process, and Meetup provides plenty of resources to help you get started.

Now, about finding a friend to dress up with and go out with... I think it's wonderful that you want to experience the joy of dressing up and going out with someone who shares your enthusiasm! One way to find someone with similar interests is to join social groups or clubs that align with your hobbies. For example, if you love fashion, consider joining a fashion club or attending fashion events in your area. You can also try online forums or social media groups dedicated to fashion or style.

As for finding a girl to go out with, I want to emphasize that it's essential to focus on building genuine connections with people rather than trying to find someone instantly. Attend social events, join clubs or groups, and engage in activities that bring you joy. This will increase your chances of meeting like-minded people, including potential romantic partners.

Regarding your desire to dress up and go out in your small country town, I think it's fantastic that you want to express yourself through fashion! While it might be challenging to find opportunities to dress up in a small town, you can still find ways to do so. Consider attending local events, such as festivals, concerts, or charity functions, where you can dress up and meet new people. You can also try organizing your own events or activities with friends, like a dress-up dinner party or a fashion-themed photoshoot.

Lastly, I want to acknowledge your frustration about feeling stuck in your current job and wanting to move forward. I understand that it can be demotivating when things aren't happening as quickly as you'd like. However, it's essential to focus on the progress you've made so far, including leaving the hospitality industry and taking steps towards creating a better life for yourself.

Remember, building a social life, finding new friends, and pursuing your passions take time and effort. It's not going to happen overnight, but with persistence, patience, and a positive attitude, you can create the life you desire. Keep working towards your goals, and don't be afraid to try new things and take risks. You got this!
