I asked a girl to dance at a school dance yesterday. She said we could dance "as friends". In the end we ended up just talking and not dancing. After school was over I asked if I could take her somewhere after Christmas vacation. She said that would be nice but I'm still worried. And help please!

Should have persisted on the dancing but thats ok.

Since she said yes she is most likely interested, good job. Something in that conversation at that dance might have made her think of you as more than just a friend.

At the date tell her your intentions and don't beat around the bush. If she isn't having it move one.
