Should I continue to be friends?

A friend has recently started a relationship with a guy who is a total dick. He is known a player, uploads videos of himself stealing things. And she is lost in love with him. My question. I am her friend and hurts me to watch this. What do I do? Should I abandon her or should I be there for her even though it will hurt me.

Choose to be with good friends, and she doesn't seem to be one anymore.

Like the saying, "show me your friends and I will tell you who you are." Being friends with her might just be a bad influence to you. If her boyfriend steals, then she may be stealing or start stealing soon.

So, I will advice you completely cut her off your life.

Put some distance in your friendship but don't write her off completely. When this player tires of her she's going to need comforting.

You can't live her life for her. She gets to make bad choices you disagree with but you don't have to cut her off forever if she changes her mind.
