Should I take his stuff back?

So i've been seeing this man since march as well as working for him since January. He pursued me since January when I started working for him, but due to me working for him, I was hesitant to enter into a relationship with him. We started sleeping together in March. We broke up and he fired me in a heated argument last week. He told me to lose his number but kept me as a friend on Facebook. We have texted a few times since then and he responds and has even made a few jokes. Well he said he wanted to bring my stuff back. He dropped it off on the doorstep without even knocking or saying a word. This is weird because when he asked to come drop my things off I said that I could give his things back to him when he came. He made sure to let me know exactly what things he had left. Since he didn't knock or anything I still have his things. Should I drop them off at his place or let him come get it? He told me he just wanted me to have my things but he wasn't in a rush to get his stuff back...

I'll suggest you let him come get his stuff. If he really wanted his stuff, he would have knocked but since he didn't knock it means he doesn't want it back yet.

It's best you let him come get his stuff. However, if you know you want to end things for good with him, you might want to go drop it off at his doorstep. This way, there will be no connection with him anymore.
