Is it cheating? Is it bad or is it nothing?

It's been a couple of months since this incident has happened. But basically, my girlfriend was talking to me on the phone when she went into a gift shop to get a card for mothers day. I asked her if she wanted to cut the call so she could shop peacefully, in which she replied 'Nah it's fine, lets talk'. So we continued to talk on the phone and it was a good conversation. However suddenly she seems excited and she says 'Hi!' and then I get a bit confused, I think it's an aunty or an uncle. I then ask her if everything is okay, and she replies 'Yeah.. I'm gonna cut the call'. Which I reply 'Why?'. She didn't answer the question and paused. I then asked her 'Are you busy shopping?'. She then replied 'Yeah'. So she cut the call. But just before she cut the call I hear her laughing, extremely loudly. Which started to get me confused and suspicious.

After a while, she calls me again and she starts laughing and sounds very happy and continues to tell me that she met a guy that regularly talks to her on snap chat, who flirts with her. Which I didn't mind. But what I did mind was the fact that she lied to me. I would never expect her to lie to me for such reasons. However I just expressed my feelings on the fact that she lied to me in which she shrugged her shoulders and all she said was 'I'm sorry'. Which I then left.

Jump back into the future I see on you tube a channel which catches so called 'cheaters'. But when I see these girls and guys being branded 'cheaters' it was nearly the same conditions that she was in. A guy walks to a girl and flirts with her, asks for her number, and if they say yes. Then they are branded a 'cheater'. Now when I saw this. I was SHOCKED. I thought that it would be branded cheating if a guy or girl has sex with another guy or girl. Now that I see different opinions on what a 'cheater' is. I'd like to know what your opinions on this short story is. I don't regard her as a cheater, rather a liar for this case and scenario. Though I am worried that she isn't very loyal.

This proves that she is honest. If she had the intention of cheating on you with this guy, she would have probably told you she meet her uncle, aunt or any other relative.

So, I think you should ignore this and build your relationship with her.

First, how long have you been in a relationship with her? If you just started dating her a few month, then you shouldn't be demanding loyalty as this point.

You need to be in a relationship with her for a certain period of time for her to trust you, and in return give you her loyalty.

As for the incident that happened, it's not cheating by any standard.
