I was abroad for one year, so technically, my wife and I have been long distance for long. We have been away from each other most of the time since we got married. It was all for business though, so she understood. I met my wife 7 years ago. One time, she called while I was at work and I wondered why. When I took the call, I heard my wife crying over the phone. Nervousness came through me. I thought something bad happened to our daughter. But I was wrong. She called to tell me she got pregnant by another man. I did not know what to say. Yet, I managed to respond with a shaking voice. I asked her why but the only thing I heard from her was “I’m sorry”. She said it was an accident but I did not know what to think. I felt betrayed and I was angry. I didn’t keep in touch with her for two weeks now. She seemed to understand that I was avoiding her. For two weeks, I have been thinking of what to do about it. Since I felt anger inside me, I couldn’t think clearly. Can you help me with this? I badly need your advice.

Is she emotionally involved with the baby's father? Was it a drunken one night stand? In no way am I condoning her infidelity, but a long distance relationship can feel very lonely after a while. No business would be worth that to me. Still, I assume she agreed to that arrangement.

You've known this woman for 7 years, so I assume you know her pretty well. You have every right to feel betrayed and angry, but I guess I would have to ask her more questions before making a decision. Does she want to stay with you?

I feel sorry for you because that is the last thing every man would want to hear but I think it is time for you to talk to her. You need to know what plan she has for that child and the father. Anyway the whole situation is complicated, If I was were you, I would take my daughter away from her and leave her alone. Because if you stay you don't have a guarantee that she will leave the other man and I don't think I can let her have the other man and me hell nooo.

I don't know how you feel about her apart from being annoyed and feel betrayed. But I would just divorce that woman end of story
