I (M24) build this thing what started as a long distance friendship with a girl

she (23) lives in another country. It developed to a strong maybe to deep relationship that it could be called a friendship. So this started in july and the last month she told me she wants to be more than friends with me. In my opinion she has a amazing personality but i mean we even havent met yet in person and i am not sure i want to be together with someone just knowing them from the internet, so i replied that opinion. Since a week she has broken up the contact with me. First she said she needs time to study for exams. but then she said it has nothing to do with the exams. We agreed that she would contact me when she has time again after finishing the “exams”. I dont want to make her feel bad so i dont know what i can do. Should i wait to maybe never hear from her again and loose a great friend? Or should i contact her but maybe she just wants to forget me because i hurt her by not agreeing for the being together part? I really care and dont want to hurt her so please what is your opinion on this mess?

You made the right decision. So don't let sentiment make you make a wrong decision. The fact is that, agreeing to stay together with someone you only know from the internet is a big risk.

yes i guess i thought the same without these stupid feelings . But would you contact her again?

It's better to allow her go than taking a decision you might end up regretting. It's risky to stay with someone you only know from the internet.

However, I'll suggest you make arrangement with her to visit first, or better still you visit her. This way you'll be able to know if she's someone you can stay with or not.

right havent thought about that! Yes it was her decision! Yes but about the visit its another thing i really have thought a lot about and i am not sure if i should do it. Its not because of me having to show effort or something like that (seriously). But its i cant imagine what high hopes she must have when we are finally together in person and then we doesnt match for some reason. She would feel horrible. Should i really take that chance in consideration of this horrible possiblity?
