I recently found out my bf of 4 years had been cheating on me with multiple women through a hacker my brother introduced to me. Is it actually right to dive into people's private lives that way?

No, but if you used the program to snoop in on ur s.o. intentionally, I feel like thats a red flag to how you were feeling initially. If you didn't however, its up to you to use this new information. You can't erase what you've just discovered. You can break up with them or not, and if you choose to, do not let your s.o. make you feel bad for how this information came out.
