I met this very handsome and sweet man on a dating site where he came to meet me here in Ukraine. He took me to his home in Arizona. He told me before that he had a daughter. So he wanted me to meet her later that week. When I saw her I was shocked because I was expecting a little child or maybe a teenager. But she was probably a little older than me. My boyfriend is already 57 but he didn’t tell me he was married before or anything like that. What should I do?

Is this a mail order bride type of thing? makes me wonder why a guy needs to travel around the world to find someone. But at 57 how young do you think his kids would be? I'm 45 and I have 24 year old and 21 year old

My issue here would be the fact that he kept such a huge part of his life from you. I'd be pretty annoyed to find out that way that he was previously married, and had adult children who were in my age range. That's the kind of stuff you talk about when you're getting to know someone.

Sounds like there's a pretty massive age gap between you two though, maybe you should ask yourself why he was being dishonest with you, and why a man that much older than you is finding it necessary to pursue not only such a younger women, but also one abroad. I agree with Lost that he wants a mail order bride, who he can bring to America and prance around like a trophy. A trophy who's younger than his daughter!
I dunno. Sounds suspicious to me, and I'd be pissed to find out about his past in that way.

If he's 57, then you shouldn't be surprise to meet his daughter that is older than you. However, that doesn't matter, what count is love.
