Should i confront gf about WhatsApp message to male friend?

My gf of 9 months told me that she has a male friend since the ago of 8, and that although they did have a sexual thing for a month or so 18 years ago, she assured me that they have a purely platonic friendship now.

Unfortunately I was repairing an old iPhone screen of hers, which once fixed was logged into to test. And badly for me I saw a WhatsApp conversation between them.

it was a full on chat about pretty dirty sexual stuff 6 weeks before we actually met which wasn’t great to read as it means she has lied that it’s a plutonic relationship. They were talking about sharing porn videos and other stuff.

so, what do I do? They regularly message each other to this day.

Do I ask her if their friendship is definitely plutonic and then say what I saw if she gives a different answer?

From my experience, there is no such thing as a platonic relationship between a girl and a boy. She has probably told you that to make you feel relax while she continues with her sexual relationship with him.

This isn't the right girl to be with, you might eventually get hurt in the future.

She is definitely going to deny it and tell you the right words, so you see it as nothing. Nevertheless, it's wise you ask her and watch how she reacts.

You have to make her choose between you and her male friend. If she still keeps her male friend, you aren't going to have a perfect relationship with her.
