I'm recently graduated, going for my Master's. I just landed a great job! Im.good at what I do, and I see real progression in my career. It's all falling into place. But he's still where he was two years ago. Working these small time jobs, for bump pay that he actually thinks is real money. Its not what he does, it's that he could be so much more if he just spies himself, turns off the Playstation, and taps into his true potential. The higher in my career, my education, the more I mature.... I feel as if were growing apart. I'm moving onto the next chapter. A better place... and I want him to come with me. But he's got to be able to grow with me, elevate with me. Am I wrong for thinking this way?

You are not wrong for thinking this way. The fact is that if he can't grow with you, then he's going to pull you back. So, it's best to be with someone who you look up to, and inspires you to grow.

From my point of view, I think you are with the wrong person. You might not achieve your dreams in life, if he continue to have him around you. He might get jealous as you grow and become more successful than him.
