didnt like my b-day gift

My wife bought me a very expensive , non-refundable / non-returnable, gift for my 40th b-day.
I dont like it so much , she claimed she bought it because she thought it was a dream for me.
From my side, I have other dreams and this present isnt the best for me.
Of course I played surprised and very happy, but since than I felt very bad from the inside and dont know if to tell her the truth because she might get hurt and it will cause a big fight..
On the other side she will probably figure it out herself sometime..
what shall i do ?

It's a gift for you, so you must appreciate gift. You probably didn't give her money to get the gift, that's the reason you must appreciate it.

It won't be wise to tell her you don't like the gift. It's best to appreciate it, even if it means pretending to like it.

I believe you should appreciate the gift however in a subtle way let her know your feelings without hurting her so she does not continue to do this.
