    Hi everyone!

I met my current boyfriend some months ago. The way we met wans’t the most perfect, but we clicked and it has been some great days we’ve had together.
He has a past of liking women too much. When I met him I was in a relationship, so I don’t too much saying on his past because of this.
The thing is that we are always talking about how we must trust each other, that he is going to be a better man for me and that I also must respect him.
A couple of days ago we were talking about the subject again and I actually kind of scare that he will cheat (I know, ironic). The conversation ended just fine, the day ended perfect and we talk about meeting soon.
Later that night I checked my facebook and saw he posted this: “Lovers (as an female), wouldn’t exist if wifes wouldn neglect their husbands”. I got soo furious, we have friends in common and some of my family.
they even asked if everything was alright?
He has a history of posting provocative things but this got in my nerve!
i confronted him, and he just said it was joke, that I should sense of humor once in a while.
I told him it was just disrespectful and he dismissed me, I later overreacted some and he just ignored and we haven’t talk more.
did I overreacted?? Am I crazy and taking it too serious??

I think you weren't wrong for reacting. You have made him aware you aren't happy with his post, so let the issue end that way. Don't hold on to this anymore, but let it go and allow things return to the way it used to be.

It was just a mere Facebook post, so you shouldn't have made a scene of the situation. If he has apologized to you, then let it go.
