Pls help. I'm confused about my relationship and love.

Hi I've been in a relationship with the same girl for 5 years now. I really love her but I believe I've been emotionally cheating on her. There's another girl (Michelle) that I've known for quite some time. My girlfriend and I are friends with her. They're quite close but I'm not that close with Michelle. However recently I've gotten closer to Michelle as we've been hanging out more and talking more as well. We hang out with our friends and we don't spend time alone or anything. I've always found her attractive but never really saw her as a potential partner or girlfriend as I didn't know her personally enough.

I'm starting to feel something for her. A feeling I can't shrug off and can't seem to keep my mind off her sometimes. The feeling of when you are attracted to someone. Not just physically. But emotionally. Also my girlfriend has been away for a couple months now as she's working abroad. She will be back in about 2 more months time.

Is this normal? Is it even possible to love/like 2 people? Should this be something I can control emotionally? Because I feel like i can't really help to feel the way I do about Michelle. Should I talk to my girlfriend about my feelings towards Michelle? Or just keep trying to forget Michelle and avoid meeting her anymore.

I feel so lost and confused right now. I need some genuine advice please..

Don't make any attempt to talk to your girlfriend about it because she'll never trust you again if you do. You are simply attracted to Michelle because your girlfriend isn't around you. So, I'll advice you stop seeing Michelle and start communicating with your girlfriend more often.

You can like two people but can't be in love with two people. So, what you are feeling for Michelle is lust and not love. If you still love your girlfriend, then avoid meeting Michelle.
