Excuse my bad English, I don't speak that language fluently.
So, I'm in love with my best male friend for 3 years. My ex introduced me to him and I immediately fell in love with him. After I broke up with my ex, my friend started to act differently - he was very kind, he gave me a lot of compliments, he wanted to be together everyday. I was very confused, because I'm not his type of a girl. I'm really not. A lot of my friends told me that in their opinion, he likes me more than a friend, after they saw us together and things got messed up.
And I made the biggest mistake - I told him that I'm falling in love with him and I know that he doesn't like me back, so for that reason a need some space to forget him and I will text him when I'm ready. He told me that there is no problem and he will wait for me to text him. Is that a rejection? Is it possible that kind of rejection to be because of my ex? Thank you!
