Is my GF blowing me off, or is she genuinely too busy to meet up?

I appreciate any advice with this.

My GF and I have been together since June. She’s a student nurse redoing her 2nd year. She’s also on a nursing internship, she has a part time job and rugby practice/matches.

Anyway, a couple of weeks ago, the day after a couple of friends and I went to watch a football game, she sent me a message at 5am saying “I want to see you...”

I reply “I want to see you too, when are you free”

She tells me she cant. This really confused me.

Over the next week she gets in touch twice to ask how I am. I asked her out again and she said she couldn’t.



I don’t know what to think, but she’s either truly busy and can’t see me... or she’s lost interest and is blowing me off.



What do you guys think?

I think she's genuinely busy. This is because she makes effort to find out about your whereabouts, so this shows she's still into you.

The fact that she still contact you to find out how you're doing proves that she still loves you. Moreover, all you said about her indicates that she must be a really busy person. So, I'll suggest you support her through this times.

UPDATE:

My GF messaged me on Sunday last week and asked if I would be interested in going to Sevilla with her. She’s booked the flights and the hotel, and she’s coming over tomorrow for dinner.

All’s good. At least I know now that she was genuinely too busy.
