Have known this girl for the last three years and she had always been interested in me but I was either dating someone or something. We worked at the same place and this past January she started texting again I finally agreed to go out and it was great. Things started to turn as in she had a lot of baggage as in ex husband and family she absolutely hates, two kids 21 and 16 neither of the kids wanted to live with her. The girl she got physical with so her daughter moved out .
on good days we were great together but her bad days were bad. She had problems trusting me which came from her ex cheating on her.
Example, she called one night and I called back 30 mins later told her I was walking the dogs. She texts back saying I was lying because it doesn't take that long. So I explained I brushed my teeth, fixed food than called her. In other words I had to explain all details.
She didn't like me going to church because my ex went there but I asked her every Sunday to go with me. She told me she didn't want me hanging around certain friends of mine. She was upset I had a lock on my phone, etc.
When she got mad she got mad!!! I would get cursed out, take blaime for anything. I never once would argue back,never. I knew most of this was coming from her past because constantly she brought it up. But she told me all the time she loved me and I was the one. Anyway she got mad again about a month ago thinking I was hiding something and I was not.
So she quit texting but I would text everyday telling I miss and love her. No reply. So I get a text from her friend telling me not to text her anymore because she got engaged this past weekend and is getting married!!!!!
How!!!!!! I didn't even know we were broke up.
The tell to me was someone told me she ran into a friend at the store she known for 30 years and it clicked now they are engaged.
How, what did I do? I to myself knew by this time next year I was going to ask her to get married. I tried to explain you earn trust through time and learning each other. We need to talk out problems not curse me out.
What did I do, please tell me. I suffer from being bipolar and manic depressive so now after this news I am so suicidal that I have started self cutting again.
