i think i maybe soon to be splitting with my partner of 5 years who I have 2 children with. I’m just seeing how others have coped with the co parenting side of things and not seeing your children all the time? Also how did you cope when they met someone else and there is someone else in your children’s life?

The person in your children's life can't replace their father, so you will always be the dad. Also, you mustn't allow the person in your life cut you off from your children.

When couples split, the children are the only ones that suffer from their actions. So, it's better to stay with your partner just because of your children.
