Surprising my wife.

My wife has gone to Dubai for 2 weeks with her friends.She always says I'm not romantic enough. So I thought of surprising her when she comes back. I am thinking of changing our room interior as she has been telling me that she's bored seeing the old room for a while now. She likes everything simple and contemporary. I am repainting the room white and furniture is also white in colour. Now I'm looking for some suggestions on window treatments. Also please tell me what else I can do to make her happy. PS. I don't want to disappoint my wife and worsen everything.

Had you asked in advance I would have told you not to redecorate while she was gone but rather to pick her up at the airport with flowers & possibly some candy kisses. I hope she likes the changes you made or that you kept the receipts so she could take it all back.

Your heart was in the right place, but I hope that the room ended up looking nice. Grand gestures like that are great, as long as they don`t flop. It was sweet of you to put in that effort for your wife though.
